9/10: Excellent - Perfect Physical Condition, Light Use
The Audio Note M8 Phono Preamplifier is in excellent condition. Renowned for its exceptional performance, it features Black Gate capacitors, all-silver wiring, and delivers outstanding sound quality. Many consider its phono stage to be superior to the Kondo M77.
The current owner acquired the preamplifier from a doctor in Italy who used it with a Kondo Ongaku system and horn speakers. He owned both the M8 Phono and a Kondo M77 and noted that while the line stages were similar, the M8 offered superior phono performance, which led him to sell the Kondo M77. Later, he rebuilt his system entirely, making the preamplifier available for sale.
The unit is free of scratches or damage and is in very good condition.
